THE IRON HUMMINGBIRD
“The nation has lost a jurist of historic stature. We at the supreme court have lost a cherished colleague. Today we mourn, but with confidence that future generations will remember Ruth Bader Ginsburg as we knew her -a tireless and resolute champion of justice.” Chief Justice John Roberts September 18, 2020
OMG…RBG! I realize now what a mighty powerhouse you were. Cancer survivor…Feminist Icon…Fitness Icon…Supreme Court Justice…Stalwart of Civil Rights…and Liberal Icon notorious for sharp dissent and intellectually rigorous defense of equal protections under the law.

Like an Iron Hummingbird you ascended the Throne of Justice robed in garments laced with civil rights, reproductive rights and the notorious defense of civil liberties. But how did you do it…how did you stay strong and last so long and leave such an everlasting impact?
